I really haven't liked any of her previous works or interviews, but I had the opportunity to read her interview in Macleans. It caused me to think twice about her - I saw her as a radical anti-capitalist "hippie" but in her interview she changed my mind.
The interview can be found here:

Do yourself a favour and check it out. She talks about mixed market capitalism and how its beneficial to all as it promotes hard-work, economic expansion, and social justice.
This is the type of political discourse we need here in Canada and the rest of the Western World.

Political discourse?
The only political discourse we have in north of Mexico is who our politicians are sleeping with and whether someone supports the troops or not.
I would love for things like this to become more popular, but when such a huge portion of the population is disconnected from, or disillusioned with the governmental process - things seem a little bleak.
